I had a very unconventional nightmare last night. I dreamed I was glued to the ground at a zoo and someone was letting all the animals out to attack me. I was so scared I woke up shaking. Then, for reasons beyond me, Paranormal Activity popped into my mind, which only prolonged my attempt of falling back to sleep. It was a long night.

I accidently pressed the button to login and livejournal prompted me with this message, "You are already logged in. Go have fun." Livejournal has always been the most caring and intimate social network to me.

If social networks were people in my life, Livejournal would be that old childhood friend that knew everything about me even though we don't see each other as much anymore, Facebook would be the responsible, grounded and mature friend that may not be the most fun but would always encourage me to persue my career and education, Myspace would be that one wild and trashy friend that is totally scatterbrained and bizzare but a blast to go drinking with every once in awhile, and Twitter would be that one aquaintance that goes on and on about celebrities, the hills, dieting and other superficial things.

My number 1 goal at the moment is to get out of San Diego. Unfortunately, this will probabally take 6 months to a year. I have been trying to use "The Secret" to obtain that goal financially but I feel very selfish everytime I focus on material items. Praying for money when you don't really need it always sounded so juvenille to me. However, I really want to be driving in my car to a new city of my choice with no financial obligations so I will be selfish for the time being. Car payments aren't helping. I really wished I lived in a city where cars were unnecessary.

Enough whining. I had a lovely time at Sushi Deli with some co-workers today and have picked up my sampler again thanks to a new-old friend's direction. He is very experienced and very self-absorbed. But who isn't?

Im thinking about moving to Oregon but not necessarally Portland. I love Oregon but I like the idea of living in a small town where everyone knows everyone and people make pies for each other and the only time that there is a conflict is at town meetings. If its anything like that I will be very happy.

I used to think I wanted to live in a more busy city like New York but that sounds terrible now. At one point in my life, or maybe several points, I would like to live in a cabin in the woods for a couple of months with no technology just to connect to life and earth again. Walden style.

I have become more cynical with age. I used to try to fight it but now I have just accepted it.

Today my hands our in your hands; Tomorrow they could be in anyones. We were glued to thrones in our living rooms like kings and queens of sloth. The rage was brewing. Happiness was playing hide and go seek with your spirit. She still hasn't found her under the basement with the broken toys and dead rodents. Mini breakdowns on top of kitchen sinks decorate this surburban tragedy. The population lay still in it's crib surrounded by the wallstreet wallpaper, under the doomsday mobile. "Have you checked the baby monitor my love?" In the office they burned their clothes but they were just given uniforms. In the prisons they prayed red handed and naked. "I'm thinking we should tailgate the apocolypse. After all I could really use a good buzz." Each of them created in silence a better version of themselves. They called them redemption dolls and only a few moved on their own. The chant was in unison but a few kept quiet with delayed cynacism. Yes they wore white robes but covered in paint as if to hide the supposed innocence in a child like way, similar to a child bashfully lying to his parents about the broken vase. Good and Evil played chess on eternities sunrise but they always ended in stalemate until one of them learned how to cheat.

So last night I was supposed to meet up with a friend at a show in North Park but I couldnt get in. So instead of going straight home I wondered around university where I discovered an urban slam poetry jam taking place. I was so ecstatic because I have been wanting to see and possibly in the future participate in one. It was just like I had imagined intense emotional and gripping. I was too intimidated to perform but maybe next time. It was such a great surprise.

I have been going through a lot of boyfriend and friend drama. Don't feel sorry for me though because most of it is my fault.

There are some big changes occuring in my life and Im anxious and grateful for them.

Its been an interesting couple of weeks. I had an intense experience yesterday at the chevys parking lot in which my aunt had to pick me up. I will leave it that. Tuesday was pretty fun at solana beach with mary. "Im petting a seal" was the inside joke of the day.

I also had a really good time at a house party on Saturday. It was only like 10 or 12 people and they were all people that i went to high school with but never really talked to. It was like a high school reunion with strangers. Anyways i laughed all night at stupid shit. Some good moments/quotes(which are really only for me) included

-Jennifer Hudson and Erika
-Crab hands
-You just got jarydidid
-everyone yelling
-Jeff Sartain
-Krispy Kreme
-Bagel quesadilla
-christian songs
-people playing beer pong weird
-The mess at the bank

I have become addicted to online chess and reading celebrity twitters

A lot is going on with me on march 10th. I will be
-visiting Los Angeles
-attending a cut copy show
-touring UCLA
-purchasing the new yeah yeah yeahs album and the films milk, rachel getting married and happy-go-lucky.

I really need to start saving more money/finding a second job if I a going to buy a condo this year.

I'm probably going to be attending the better version of coachella, aka the sasquatch festival, in may this year. This definitely doesn't help my condo purchasing plans but the lineup is so good that it is practically irresistible. Plus there is stand-up. The following will be there

tv on the radio
fleet foxes
nine inch nails
m83
black moth super rainbow
yeah yeah yeahs
passion pit
animal collective
demetri martin
crystal castles
zach galifianakis
of montreal
santogold
erykah badu
nick thune
